We’re gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day at daycare. Can you tell?

“Making a lion out of pompom balls and googly eyes and glue and pieces of foam that are sticky on the back. Also sticks that you can twirl around because there’s some wire in the middle and they’re all fuzzy.”

Lots of birthday presents means lots of thank you notes. I’m writing them all myself, so it’s taking a while. (Mom drew some clockwork faeries for the front.)

We’re having a very exciting discussion about our favorite movies. I have only actually seen two.

Joanna and Kerry are here to look at art galleries for Joanna’s work, so Joanna and I did some art together.

Mom sewed down one of her old T-shirts for me. I think she could have sized it down a little more.

S: “I’m not sad. This is my normal face.”
M: “That’s not your normal face.”

Our neighbor Sharon fell, so I made her a Get Well card.
