Mom and I are helping Elijah’s Boy Scout troop repaint a room at his church.

Ssh. Dad’s out of town. He doesn’t know we’re working on the bathroom.

Cleaning the dojo after the test. Everybody did great!

The other Sara from down the street came by while we were working in the yard. Did you know she’s never heard of Tom Sawyer?

BTW I’m wearing some of my awesome hand-me-downs.

Granted, it’s not broccoli…

Tom and I are painting a dragon on Mike and Gary (from aikido)’s ‘death machine.’ Mom keeps pointing out that with no moving parts it isn’t really a machine.

I would like to point out that they asked Mom to do this.

M: Okay go sort out your clothes from the laundry and put them away.
S: No!
M: You can pretend they’re prey.
S: Yes!
