Sarah vs. Death Machine.

So Mike and Gary rolled a bunch of mats for everyone to practice their sword work on. The sword strikes were so hard that the base of the death machine split.

…Death Machine 2.0 will be made with 4x4s.

Eila’s birthday party was a luau! On the beach!

Did you know my mom was born in Hawaii? I come by the hula honestly.

Strangely though, Dad took me to the party and Mom stayed home.

And here’s the aikido piñata finished. Oooh. It’s heavy. Sensei is going to love it tomorrow!

Mom is also making an aikido piñata for Sensei’s birthday party.

It’s not a death piñata or anything. See? Friiieeendly.

Tom and I are painting a dragon on Mike and Gary (from aikido)’s ‘death machine.’ Mom keeps pointing out that with no moving parts it isn’t really a machine.

I would like to point out that they asked Mom to do this.

Mike and Gary made this wooden stand for aikido practice and gave it to Mom to paint.

However, I think it makes a great fort.

Kayla and I made little animals on our playdate.

Mine is a kitty.

My cousin KC from Buffalo sent me this French knitting loom to make an owl doll.

I’ve got three rows knitted already today.

Oooh. We got another shipment of art stuff from Rachel in Nashville.
