Jessie and Byron are having a baby, so we had a shower for them at our house (with Soula’s help), even though the baby isn’t out, yet. And no one had a shower.

We gave them lots and lots of my old cloth diapers, which they seemed happy about. Probably because we cleaned them first.

Mom has agreed to indoctrinate me into the mysterious grown-up activity called laundry.

I anticipate great things.

These are the first bowls I ever threw on the wheel. I did the carving, additions, and underglaze myself also.

(I gave the one on the left to my kindergarten teacher Ms. Morgan-Arnold.)

Had my 9th kyu test today… and passed! Now my belt is yellow with a black stripe.

Graduated from Pre-K today! Dad says this is he best picture he got. What!?!

Mom’s nikyu aikido test was today. She passed! Good job Mom. We went out to Acapulco’s for lunch with everyone afterward. (That’s Sensei Mark on the left and Shirlee on the right. Thanks guest photographer Gary.)
