It’s spring break, so Mom and I did some research and then opened my first savings account. It’s a very grown-up thing, you know.
Also, I wasn’t so sure that Mom’s purse was the best place for my money.

Great idea. Maybe you can get all your adult friends to send you some money to put in the bank — sort of encourage good habits.
