Sadly, it has been my longstanding hypothesis that Tuesday is the worst day of the week. I believe this is because you’re mentally prepared for Monday to be hard, but Tuesday always takes you by surprise.
The effect can sometimes be ameliorated if Tuesday is designated Buffy Consolation Night (aka Farscape Night; aka TV Night).
