Yesterday at the South Pasadena Farmers’ Market, Mom purchased the Longest Green Beans of the Universe. They are very tasty steamed with a little butter.

Kid, you’re old enough to know the truth. Your Mom has a great recipe for steamed garter snakes. Just make sure she cooks ’em thoroughly. i hate it when they wiggle.
