Oh Mom. Again with the olive oil?

I suppose vegetable oil would do just as well. It's to loosen the waxy, hydrophobic build up she gets on her scalp. After it soaks in, you can brush it off with a toothbrush. Trouble is, she has more hair now than the last time I tried it. This time, the toothbrush couldn't really get down to her scalp, and the oil made her hair so greasy we had to wash it five times.
The pediatrician says we can instead occasionally use a regular dandruff shampoo on her. We'll try that next.
(Although, the olive oil made her smell so tasty.)
