We’re helping Kevin paint props for his home-made Star Wars movie. We get to be extras, too! We have to practice walking around a corner and looking surprised.

Ugh. So sick. I’ve had a fever from 101-104 since yesterday. Poor Grandma is sick again, too! She has an earache, and she has to get on a plane soon.

Grandma taught a watercolor workshop. Karis, Paige, and Neighbor Auntie Dalia came, as did my cousins Veronica and Patrick (and Patrick’s s.o. Laci). I didn’t even know they lived around here!
Everybody did some really great Lonesome Trees.

Mom and Grandma went to Swain’s and Oh No! It was their Buy 1 Get 3 Free canvas sale. So they got 8 tiny canvases. We decided to do a collaborative project on them, with owls as the unifying theme. Grandma and I did some owl research.
We all three, Mom, Grandma, and I, worked on every canvas.
Grandma took three of them home to hang on her wall in Buffalo.
