160801departureOn our way back home. Yawn.

It was an amazing trip. I’m going to miss all my family that we got to stay with. I wonder what our next big trip will be…

160730nationalgalleryThe National Gallery. A lot of it was closed because they’re renovating.

There’s a lot of building going on in Dublin. The streets are all torn up because they’re putting in more public transit and everything.

160729salmondinnerThis isn’t a picture of me. But it IS a picture of my favorite food ever – SALMON. Especially the way Grandma makes it. She says the prices were pretty good here, too.

(Look at our tiny kitchen.)

160728wholefamonstageHere we are on the stage for Once at the Olympia theater. Do we look like we’re in a play?

They let everyone come up before the show started and buy drinks at the stage bar.

160726rockofcashelgirloncliffThe Rock of Cashel was awesome, and you could climb around on the hills just outside the abbey. The view was spectacular, but I got stung by some nettles. Ow. Do you suppose they would have repelled invaders?

St. Patrick baptized his first king here.

160725busrideBus ride to the Cliffs of Moher. It was very rainy and dramatic when we got there, so there aren’t many good pics of the cliffs.

Check out this cool Irish poncho I got yesterday, made from real Irish sheep. So warm on a rainy day.

160724backyardThis is Kim and me behind our apartment in the play structure there. There’s usually 3-10 kids out here, so that was cool.

They told me I had an accent, so I told them everyone has accents.

160723vikingsplashtourThe Viking Splash Tour took us all around Dublin, and then, being amphibious, splashed right into the quay outside our apartment. That’s when we learned U2’s recording studio is right behind our rental place.

Arrr! We be Vikings!

160722stephensgreenThe second half of our group got here today and we walked around a bit. Here’s Aunt Jen, Aunt Kim, and Uncle Joe. Grandma was pretty tired from the flight, so she’s back at the apartment. Cousin Joe is around somewhere.

We went to the Museum of Natural History. I saw lots of Viking stuff, but didn’t want to go in to see the bog bodies. Scary.

This is St. Stephen’s Green.
