I am good at peeling potatoes. Apparently Great Grandma considered this an important life skill.

It was your great grandmother, Margaret Treanor (after whom your mother is named), who was the famous potato peeler of the family. One winter, she stayed with us in Alabama and every afternoon at 4:00, she’d come into the kitchen and say, “Would you like me to peel the paddadas (her Irish pronunciation) for you?)
