There’s nothing like touching base on the holidays. There’s Aunt Jen, and Frank, and where’s Cousin Henry? What’s that blur that keeps crossing the screen?
Merry Christmas everyone! We had a lovely dinner with Tom, Robin, Jessie, Byron, Quentin, Karin, and Rachel.
I’m just going to have to hope that some sprinkles will halt the hemorrhaging.
S: Kyle says Santa isn’t going to give me any presents.
M: Well, that’s true.
S: What!?
M: Santa’s just a character, like Clifford the Big Red Dog. So, how could he give you presents? You know that, right?
S: Oh. Yeah. I did… Well, how am I going to get presents, then?
M: You’ll get a bunch from your friends, neighbors, family. Don’t worry. There will be more than you need.
S: Okay… Can you write ‘From Santa’ on them?
M: … Suuure.
Samantha and I went to Katie’s house. We have lots to do. We need to make dough, roll it out, cut shapes, decorate cookies… oh look! Finding Nemo!
Yeah. I’m just standing here wearing my turkey hat, waiting for everybody to show up.
