Mom: “Your birthday party is tomorrow, and I want to talk about some things I want you to do, okay?”
Sarah: “Okay.”
Mom: “Now, everybody is coming to see you, so I want you to make sure you say ‘hello’ to everyone and let them know you’re glad they came. Can you do that?”
Sarah: “Yes. And I will let them play with my toys and I won’t bite anybody.”
Mom: “Yeah. Not biting anyone is good. I also want you to play a little bit with all the kids. Don’t just play with one kid the whole time.”
Sarah: “Okay. And if they don’t want to play with me, they can bite me.”

Was too excited by Grandma’s arrival to take a nap today.
Now too tired to eat dinner.

Wow Charlie. The Petersen Automotive Museum is a great place for a birthday party. Good choice.

My daycare had an 18th birthday party, so we put on a performance for all the ‘rents.

So. I’m not allowed to bite, and you’re keeping my nails trimmed.

Just how am I supposed to defend myself?

Franklin, you wacky turtle.

Home reading on the couch because I puked in the car on the way to daycare. All in all a net positive, I think.
