Finally met Grampa today! I'm stunned.

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Stayed with Taki in Cincinnati tonight on my first car trip adventure. She's nifty.

Mom called me flaky! Me!

When she's the one applying olive oil and a toothbrush to the baby!

More hands.

Sunday, April 26, 2009

Hot. It's.... hot. Really hot.

Bleah.

Richard and Kate brought over home made strawberry shortcake! (Still didn't have any.)

Saturday, April 25, 2009

They called her 'Missy No-Nap', and she was unrepentant.

Friday, April 24, 2009

Mailed my first package today with the help of this nice man. (Postal workers get a bum rap. For example, this guy didn't even think of letting me fall off this counter. (Hmm. High.))

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Alas, poor Yorick...
but Happy Birthday to the Bard!

(I um, didn't have a skull in the house.)

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

Happy Earth Day!

(I know this isn't the Earth. I wasn't born yesterday. I just thought I would conveniently rename it, BSG style.)

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Yo homies. Dig my new crib. Cousin Henry gave me his old one.

Monday, April 20, 2009

Mom started walking today for her doctor-prescribed exercise. New shoes and everything. I'm not sure how the malt she picked up on the way fits in to the routine...

Also, we saw this spider on the doorstep on the way out. Mom says it looks like an octopus. I'll have to take her word for it.

Woah. Matt's got chops.

You can hear his song on Dad's site here.

Maybe next time he'll write a song for me!

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Bob and Nayleen brought me this wonderful little furry friend from Australia. Hope she doesn't want to eat any of my bunnies!

Matt came over and played some guitar tonight. You'll be able to hear the results tomorrow on Dad's music blog.

"B" is for "boob."

That's good enough for me.

Anne is bringing Thai food over tonight! Joining us are Adam, Kate, and Richard.

Thursday, April 16, 2009

C'mon Mom. It's just 872 pages. You should ace this exam.

(BTW I marked the important material in drool... and could you take a break to feed me? And there's something brewing in my dipe. Might warrant a look-see.)

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Personally, I don't see the resemblance.

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

No I don't like this boppi as well as the old one. Mom? What's that look? Is that garlic?
...

Monday, April 13, 2009

You have to hand it to Dad. He worked at home for part of today and we had some quality time.

Sunday, April 12, 2009

Happy Easter!

Allow me to introduce you to my Bunny Friends. And, of course, three hard-boiled eggs.

Amie and Daren had us over for a scrumptious Easter dinner (and Carcassonne).

Aunt Jen expressed a fondness for the sleeping baby series...

Friday, April 10, 2009

Talk about a whirlwind tour, Cousin Henry and his parents couldn't go home quite as early as they planned because we had tornados today!

(It got better.)

Thursday, April 9, 2009

But I'm Jammin!

Wait...what? I'm supposed to use my HANDS to play? How dumb is that!

Had an appointment with my personal physician today, and discovered that there's something worse than baths: shots. Owy!

On the bright side, I'm healthy. They say I weigh about 11.5 pounds (less than the scale at home says, but Dad always accuses it of being wrong anyway) and about 23.25 inches. The baby-measurers tell me that's 70th percentile in weight and 87th in height.

And again.

Ok, let's go over this drill once more....

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Aunt Jen, Uncle Matt, and Cousin Henry are coming tonight, so Mom and Dad made up the guest room.

I helped.

Monday, April 6, 2009

Wha... hey! Don't leave me here! Mom!

Sunday, April 5, 2009

Here, the parents are dangling me over the second story deck in order to demonstrate to you that spring has arrived in Nashville.

Saturday, April 4, 2009

Had a bath today...

then Dad did my hair.

Friday, April 3, 2009

This is my food.

Get yer own.

Thursday, April 2, 2009

Wakin' up is hard to do.

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Sugar and spice and everything highly glycemic. That's what this little girl is made of.

They just told Mom her gestational diabetes didn't entirely go away and that she's going to have to do some serious work to keep it at bay...

...um...

I may have a few years of sucking up to do.

(Get it? And I'm nursing...)
