Done with several layers of glaze over the yellow base. I tried real leaves for the shadows on the upper part, but they tended to flip around and get bogged down easily by the paint. Using straight pigment in layers of clear glaze makes the colors interact a lot with the light. This looks like a completely different room at different times of day.
